Job summary

Mars is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager- Raws to lead global inbound supply chains and a small team, ensuring reliable manufacturing and lean operations. You will drive risk mitigation, inventory management, and continuous improvement across high-impact categories.

You will also develop materials strategies that balance service levels with inventory and obsolescence minimization while supporting Mars’ Five Principles and bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement &/or supply chain experience.
• In depth understanding of the supply chain and supplier relationship management.
• Bachelor's degree at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies and inventory management practices.
• Manage high impact categories to supply chain.
• Implement sourcing strategies and support capital reduction initiatives.
• Coach and develop a team of 1-2 indirect reports.
• Develop materials management strategies balancing service levels with inventory and obsolescence minimization.
