Mars in Chicago is seeking an experienced Procurement Operations Manager- Raws to lead categories and a team, creating and maintaining global inbound supply chains for reliable manufacturing. You will champion lean, agile processes and apply supply chain tools to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5 years of procurement / supply chain experience.
• In depth understanding of the supply chain and supplier relationship management.
• Bachelor's degree at a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, inventory management practices, and continuous improvement programs.
• Responsible for managing high impact categories to supply chain.
• Implementing sourcing strategies, while in parallel supporting capital reduction initiatives.
• Provide coaching and development support for a team of 1-2 indirect reports.
• Develop and perform materials management strategies that balance service levels with inventory and obsolescence minimization.
