Perdue Foods in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Director of Procurement Operations to lead the procurement function's operational core, standardize processes, and drive policy adherence. The role oversees procurement operations managers, buyers, and analysts, coordinating with Category Management and CoE to improve performance and data visibility.

This onsite position includes leadership of the Material Planner group.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in procurement operations, P2P, sourcing support, or supply chain.
Leadership of operational teams (buyers, managers, planners or analysts).
Strong understanding of procurement technology, SOP development, and data-driven decision-making.
Strong people leadership with accountability and operational consistency.

Responsibilities

Lead daily purchasing operations across direct and indirect teams, including regional, fleet, and PAB buyers.
Monitor and improve P2P processes (POs, receiving, invoicing, issue resolution).
Support sourcing execution with tools, data, and processes for timely buys.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, buying thresholds, and supplier usage guidelines.
