Job summary

Tallgrass in Houston is seeking Summer 2027 Procurement Interns to support end-to-end procurement with a strong emphasis on data analytics and stakeholder collaboration. You will help streamline workflows, support internal requests, and ensure data integrity across processes.

You will gain exposure to procurement software platforms, data visualization tools, and ERP systems while contributing to policy development and cross-functional projects in a hands-on, in-person setting.

Qualifications

• Students actively enrolled in a degreed program with expected graduation date in 2026–2028.
• Strong MS Office skills with data analysis and presentation ability.
• Familiarity with procurement software and digital collaboration tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end procurement with emphasis on data analytics for decision making.
• Streamline and optimize procurement workflows using automation.
• Assist in processing and prioritizing internal requests with accuracy.
• Respond to inquiries with clear communication across the organization.
• Conduct data quality reviews of third-party deliverables.
• Develop and refine procurement policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor documentation and archiving for compliance.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration across departments.
