Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator II to manage low-value procurement transactions, purchase orders, and data reporting. You'll support procurement operations by tracking orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining databases with high accuracy.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and procurement agents to resolve cycle issues, gather specifications, and assist with closeout and payable activities while ensuring contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years in procurement, supply chain, or admin roles.
• Proficiency in Excel for procurement reports and data analysis.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with PO tracking and supplier follow-up.
• Accurate database management and data entry.
• Ability to complete low-value procurement transactions under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process low-value procurement transactions and releases to negotiated agreements.
• Manage purchase orders through their lifecycle and track status.
• Maintain procurement databases with high accuracy.
• Gather and distribute procurement documents and specs.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate with agents, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Support closeout/payables and resolution of cycle issues.
