Job summary

Associated Bank is seeking a Procurement Operations Analyst in Wisconsin to support day-to-day purchasing by processing transactions, maintaining supplier data, and guiding colleagues through procurement processes. The role may be filled as Analyst or Senior with selection based on experience.

The candidate will handle requisitions, POs, and supplier data within ERP systems, ensure accuracy and policy compliance, and contribute to process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience performing procurement, purchasing, or operational transaction processing in a corporate or shared services environment.
• 2+ years of experience working with ERP or procurement systems to process requisitions, purchase orders, or supplier data.
• 4+ years of experience following documented procedures and controls to ensure transaction accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned procure-to-pay (P2P) transactions from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with procurement policies.
• Process requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier data updates using ERP and procurement systems.
• Evaluate routine purchasing scenarios, supplier requests, and data issues to determine appropriate solutions within established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate supplier and transactional data, identifying and correcting issues that may impact compliance, reporting, or downstream processing.
• Resolve procurement exceptions by identifying root causes, addressing issues within established procedures, and escalating complex or higher-risk matters when needed.
• Support end users by providing guidance on procurement processes, system usage, and purchasing requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and process gaps, contributing ideas to improve procedures, job aids, and workflow efficiency.
• Follow procurement controls, approval requirements, and service-level expectations to support accurate and compliant purchasing operations.
