Job summary

Central Moloney in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an entry-level Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You’ll lead procurement of raw materials, parts, and supplies for production, while coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet schedules.

The role involves MRP reviews, material planning, ordering, invoice resolution, and data analysis using Excel. Attention to detail, strong communication, and ERP experience are valued in a tobacco-free, safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: Oversee sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, parts, and supplies for production.
• MRP Reviews: Conduct Material Requirements Planning reviews to forecast needs and align with production schedules.
• Material Planning/Ordering: Develop and execute material plans to maintain optimal inventory and avoid delays.
• Supplier Interface: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and monitor performance.
• Invoice Resolution: Review and resolve discrepancies with accounts payable and suppliers.
• Data Management: Use Excel and other tools to analyze procurement data and prepare reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement procurement process improvements.
