Job summary

Recon Management Services seeks a Buyer to procure materials, equipment, and services for a manufacturing facility. You will work with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery while driving cost savings and compliance with procurement policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field or equivalent experience, 3+ years of industrial procurement, and strong SAP/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience purchasing MRO materials, industrial services, and capital equipment.
• Experience with obtaining competitive quotes and pricing negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of procurement policies, contracts, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure MRO materials, industrial supplies, equipment, and services.
• Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers.
• Conduct negotiations including pricing and payment terms.
• Create, issue and manage purchase orders in SAP.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability and Finance to support uptime.
