Job summary

Central Moloney in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an entry level Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You will lead procurement of raw materials, parts, and supplies for production, manage MRP reviews, and coordinate material planning to ensure on-time delivery.

You will build strong supplier relationships, negotiate terms, resolve invoice discrepancies, and use Excel to analyze data and generate reports. A associate degree and 1+ year in procurement preferred; ERP experience is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Prefer more than 1 year in procurement or supply chain management, with a proven track record in material planning and supplier management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail.
• ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: Oversee sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, parts, and supplies for production.
• MRP Reviews: Conduct Material Requirements Planning reviews to forecast needs and align procurement.
• Material Planning/Ordering: Develop plans to maintain optimal inventory and place orders as needed.
• Supplier Interface: Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms and pricing.
• Invoice Resolution: Resolve discrepancies with accounts payable and suppliers.
• Data Management: Use Excel to analyze procurement data and prepare reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes.
