Zaniboni Lighting Co. in Florida seeks an Assistant to the Purchasing Agent to support administrative tasks and order follow-up for raw materials. The role involves tracking orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring specifications and delivery meet requirements.

The candidate will assist with reviewing purchases, maintaining vendor relations, and using NetSuite for production planning and inventory control. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Formación

• Experience purchasing or accounting of raw materials such as manufacturing or building materials.
• Experience in manufacturing or service sectors (HVAC, Electrical, Building) with understanding of fabrication, BOM.

Responsabilidades

• Follow established company purchasing processes and procedures.
• Follow up and help track purchases of raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies from suppliers (USA, Canada).
• Review purchases; confirm specifications, quality and delivery for vendor selection and pricing.
• Monitor schedules and delivery dates of materials; report quality or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with receiving to handle non-conforming materials.
• Represent the company to vendors with professional communication; support production and management.
