Job summary

Alliance Technical Group seeks a Procurement Manager to lead the purchasing team across the United States and Canada, ensuring timely, compliant procurement in line with policy and controls. You will partner with Operations, Finance, and Accounts Payable, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings.

The role requires 7+ years in procurement, including 3+ years leading a team, and expertise with ERP systems and Coupa/NetSuite. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 7+ years progressive procurement experience with 3+ years leading a team.
• Experience negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers.
• Experience using an ERP and/or procurement system to manage requisitions, POs, and receiving.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/LOOKUP), plus Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal customers, senior leaders, and suppliers.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily purchasing operations and balance workload across Coordinators.
• Escalation point for requisitioners, Coordinators, and suppliers on issues, delays, pricing, and policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, Authority Matrix and approval workflows; maintain SOPs.
• Manage relationships with day-to-day suppliers, negotiate terms for routine purchases.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve match exceptions and invoicing issues.
• Track and report team KPIs (PO cycle time, open POs, savings) to the Director.
• Support CapEx purchasing, including quotes and supplier coordination.
• Support M&A activity by onboarding acquired sites onto ATG systems and processes.
• Lead or support special projects such as sourcing events and supplier consolidation.
• Act as backup approver/purchaser per workflow policies.
