Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for CSS Material and Electronic Systems. The role is based in New Brunswick, NJ, with responsibility for a large annual spend and strategic supplier leadership.

The ideal candidate has deep procurement experience in regulated manufacturing and a track record of driving cost savings while supporting R&D and product development. May require up to 10% travel; JNJ Flex, Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience with 4 years in procurement.
• Experience with components and raw materials in Electrophysiology/medtech.
• Proven track record in strategic procurement in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies to meet goals.
• Manage supplier relationships and evaluate new/existing suppliers.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage pricing/risk.
• Monitor procurement spend and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify and source innovations for new product development.
• Collaborate with EM Make, R&D, VSL, Engineering, QA, Finance.
• Conduct market analysis and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
