Job summary

International Republican Institute (IRI) is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee IRI's global procurement activities. The role reports to the Director of Procurement and will guide staff, ensure donor compliance, and coordinate with headquarters and field offices.

The position is based in Washington, DC, with in-office work required at least three days per week. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of progressive procurement experience, strong analytical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum seven years of progressively responsible procurement experience, preferably in federally funded contexts.
• Ability to review and approve complex procurement actions and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing IRI's global procurement operations.
• Serve as designee and act on behalf of the Director of Procurement as delegated.
• Review and approve procurement packages within delegated authority.
• Provide guidance on procurement planning, competition requirements, source selection, and contract administration.
• Train staff on procurement processes and develop procurement plans and evaluation criteria.
• Support staff during proposal development and project startup with procurement guidance.
• Analyze procurement processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance and program teams on complex procurement matters.
