Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Manager Procurement Aggregates to lead procurement for cement and aggregate materials, driving cost reductions and efficiency across supplier networks. The role collaborates with Operations to ensure uninterrupted material supply and optimal working capital management.

The ideal candidate has strong SAP experience, at least five years in procurement or supply chain, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Operations or Supply Chain.
• Deep knowledge of SAP functional processes in maintenance, inventories and purchasing.
• Knowledge of Cement/Concrete/Aggregate production processes.
• Able to apply Supply Chain Management concepts.
• Understands customer requirements and supplier impact on internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the annual maintenance forecast and budget with operations.
• Guarantees flow of information among Procurement, Operations and Maintenance.
• Develops and monitors the annual purchasing/negotiation plan.
• Ensures fulfillment of goods and services requirements in a timely manner.
• Purchases materials, products & services.
• Executes inventory reduction initiatives and supplier payment term improvements to optimize Working Capital.
