Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Procurement Manager to identify cost savings, build supplier relationships, and ensure continuous supply while managing working capital. You will collaborate with Category Managers and Operations on category strategies to drive lowest total cost of ownership and high-quality materials and services.

Qualifications

• Operates knowledge of cement production and materials management.
• 5+ years in procurement/operations or supply chain.
• SAP, Excel and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the annual maintenance forecast and budget with operations.
• Guarantees flow of information among Procurement, Operations and Maintenance.
• Develops and monitors the annual purchasing/negotiation plan.
• Fulfillment of goods and services requirements in a timely manner.
• Purchases materials, products and services.
• Drives inventory reduction initiatives and supplier payment term improvements to optimize working capital.
