Established in 1995, Computech International (CTI) is a comprehensive technology solutions provider delivering high-quality, managed solutions for government, education, and commercial enterprises. CTI has become a significant supplier of ruggedized computers and accessories to the military. Twenty-five years in, CTI has relocated to Woodbury, New York, and is in search of a full-time Procurement Manager, primarily to support the Manager for project purchases, who will be a part of our growing operations. The position is on-site in Woodbury, New York.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Report to a Manager and collaborate, as needed, with the Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing as appropriate for project needs, and organize quote information for pricing review.
• Source new vendors or suppliers and maintain existing relationships for reliability and growth.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Technical team as needed for any questions related to project needs.
• Enter parts into the purchasing software system and provide updates on order status.
• Maintain purchase order documents in a shared filing system to ensure content is traceable, organized, and accessible.
• Supervise a Buyer.

Requirements:

• Experience managing supply chain or operations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and communicative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with an ERP system is an advantage.
