CTI Intl is looking for a full-time Buyer in Woodbury, New York. The role involves supporting the Procurement Manager, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing project purchases, ensuring that all orders are tracked and organized.

Qualifications

Established in 1995, Computech International (CTI) is a comprehensive technology solutions provider delivering high-quality, managed solutions for government, education, and commercial enterprises. CTI has become a significant supplier of ruggedized computers and accessories to the military. Twenty-five years in, CTI has relocated to Woodbury, New York, and is in search of a full-time Buyer, primarily to support the Manager for project purchases, who will be a part of our growing operations. The position is on-site in Woodbury, New York.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

• Report to a Procurement Manager and collaborate, as needed, with the Production, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
• Obtain quotes from vendors and suppliers, negotiate pricing as appropriate for project needs, and organize quote information for pricing review.
• Source new vendors or suppliers and maintain existing relationships for reliability and growth.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Technical team as needed for any questions related to project needs.
• Enter parts into the purchasing software system and provide updates on order status.
• Maintain purchase order documents in a shared filing system to ensure content is traceable, organized, and accessible.

Requirements:
