Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage day-to-day procurement and distribution, coordinate deliveries, and ensure accurate stocking. The role requires operating a box truck and forklift and supporting administrative purchasing tasks to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in purchasing, receiving, inventory or supply chain support in hospitality.
• Valid Utah driver’s license with clean driving record; forklift operation experience preferred or certify within 60 days.
• Strong organization, time-management and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist procurement of food, beverage, operational supplies and equipment with cost control.
• Create and track purchase orders; coordinate deliveries and verify receipt of goods.
• Drive box truck to transport goods between departments and buildings.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and store goods safely.
• Deliver and stock inventory across resort outlets and storage areas.
• Maintain procurement records and support digital files and purchasing software entries.
• Coordinate with internal departments to assess supply needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and support timely reorders.
• Identify and resolve issues with deliveries, damaged goods or vendor errors.
