Job summary

Nestl Purina is seeking a Management Development Associate in Davenport, Iowa. You will embark on a development path spanning procurement, sustainability, and operations, with coaching from start and exposure to multiple functions, including supply chain, engineering, and human resources.

The program fast-tracks you to manufacturing leadership with a rotational structure and relocation support, preparing you to manage sourcing strategies while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027.
• Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestl Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program.
• You will start your rotation for this Procurement MDA at the Nestl Purina factory in Davenport, Iowa.
• Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and pet care industries.
• Partner with other functional groups to develop sourcing strategies and supplier needs.
• Consider current and future demand and ensure Business Continuity Plans for key materials.
• Gain exposure to material life cycles and end-to-end factory operations, planning, and scheduling.
