Job summary

Complete Fence in Batavia, IL is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to manage purchasing and inventory for fencing materials, supporting Commercial Project Managers, Service, and Fabrication. This is a full-time, salaried role based in Batavia with standard hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and on-site work.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of procurement experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of fencing products.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, or construction coordination experience.
Strong knowledge of fencing materials/products and ability to distinguish between similar material specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
High school diploma or equivalent; practical experience prioritized.

Responsibilities

Source and purchase fencing materials including chain link, ornamental steel, vinyl, wood, aluminum, gates, hardware, fasteners, concrete, and related supplies.
Obtain and compare vendor quotes to ensure pricing and maximum cost savings.
Create and issue purchase orders (POs) and manage delivery.
Monitor POs from placement through delivery to ensure on-time material availability.
Resolve pricing discrepancies, material shortages, damaged shipments, and vendor issues.
Maintain inventory accuracy across approximately 600 SKUs using Sage and company software.
Collaborate with Commercial Project Managers, the Service Department, the Fabrication Department, and Estimators to understand material requirements.
Schedule material deliveries to align with installation schedules and prevent delays.
Process invoices, reconcile POs with vendor bills, and assist Accounting with invoice discrepancies or payment processing.
Prepare purchasing reports and track procurement metrics using Excel and Monday.com.
