Job summary

Planet Networks is seeking an analytical, hands‑on Associate to build and scale our procurement operating model across New Jersey and Virginia. You will standardize the full purchasing lifecycle, develop practical controls, and drive data‑driven decisions with KPIs and technology.

You will collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to create scalable processes, ensure asset management accuracy, and improve cost and service outcomes while growing into a broader ownership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets and analysis.
• Detail‑oriented with data discipline and accuracy.
• Ability to document processes, policies, controls, and SOPs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build the procurement operating model and standardize full purchasing lifecycle.
• Support bids, supplier comparisons, and sourcing recommendations across multiple spend areas.
• Negotiate and improve pricing, terms, and spend visibility under guidance.
• Design controls, policies, and approval matrices; monitor for off‑process purchasing and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Accounting on asset reporting, capitalization, and budgeting.
