Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Guymon, OK seeks a Purchasing Coordinator to join the scheduling team. You will create POs, monitor stock, coordinate with warehouse and PPE, and analyze inventory while maintaining data integrity and food-safety documentation.

You will collaborate with management and vendors to ensure timely, accurate purchasing and strong customer service. This role requires strong computer skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or two years of procurement experience preferred.
One to two years of administrative, clerical, purchasing support, inventory control, or customer service experience preferred.
Experience in purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, or materials management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills, or similar applications, and ERP system experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English required, bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Create & issue purchase orders promptly to ensure proper AP coding.
Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to maintain stock for production.
Collaborate with warehouse, parts room & PPE departments on orders and cycle counts.
Run routine reports to verify PO’s, receipts, and GRNI status.
Maintain documentation for food safety compliance.
Ensure data integrity and proper nomenclature for sourcing events.
Communicate with leadership and vendors to provide high customer service and accountability.
Occasionally support warehouse duties and other related tasks.
