Job summary

RTX in the United States offers a summer internship program within Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSCQ). You will learn procurement fundamentals by placing and supporting purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, and preparing RFQs, RFPs, and solicitations while analyzing quotes to ensure cost effectiveness.

As an intern you will collaborate with PMO, engineering, logistics, and finance, gaining leadership exposure and hands-on experience in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Management, Finance, MIS, Economics or closely related major and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
  • Experience with Supply Chain processes and tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Throughout the summer, you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSCQ while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way. Procurement interns are highly collaborative, hands-on Supply Chain professionals that regularly engage with the customer, Program Management Office (PMO) and other functions such as Engineering, Logistics, and Finance. You will leverage your self-motivation and high-level organization while managing multiple priorities at the same time.
