Lycoming Engines, a Textron subsidiary in Williamsport, PA, offers a 2027 Intern - Procurement program designed to provide hands-on experience across procurement processes and project work. You will participate in mandatory meetings, support inventory and quality initiatives, and gain exposure to executive leadership while collaborating on real-world supplier initiatives.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS/MS in materials or supply chain, with comfort using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Qualifications

• Student should be pursuing a BS or MS in materials, integrated supply chain or related degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in mandatory procurement meetings.
• Gain exposure to Inventory Management, Quality Improvement, and Value Stream processes.
• Understand the purchasing function.
• Manage PO dates.
• Document indirect spend purchases and expense reports.
• RRQ project for a Contract Management Tool.
• Partner with supplier quality engineering intern on supplier rationalization.
• Gain exposure to executive management.
