Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to join its procurement team for Summer 2027. In this internship, you will dive into supplier data, support market analyses, and help organize proposals, cost models, and evaluation materials to drive strategic sourcing decisions.

You will work with SAP/Ariba systems, track KPIs, and collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time delivery, while developing SOPs and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations Management (or currently enrolled/recent graduate).
• Demonstrated interest in procurement, logistics, or operations management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on suppliers, compiling capability data and pricing to support sourcing decisions.
• Organize supplier proposals, cost models, and evaluation materials for easy access.
• Collect cost data and benchmarks to support TCO analyses and cost-reduction efforts.
• Track supplier performance metrics and prepare summary reports for reviews.
• Assist in drafting contract templates and compliance checklists.
• Coordinate with project teams to monitor delivery timelines and risks.
• Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes for cross-functional meetings.
• Document procurement workflows and identify process improvements.
• Research water industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to projects.
• Support data entry and reporting in SAP/Ariba.
