Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Procurement Forester to support our wood procurement and forest management operations. The role involves cruising timber, negotiating timber contracts, and developing harvest plans to ensure sustainable supply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Forest Management required.
• Applicants must have 2 years' experience in forestry.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Cruising timber to evaluate quality and volumes; negotiating timber contracts.
• Developing forest management plans; marking timber and establishing harvest boundaries.
• Administering timber sales and merchandising the products on that sale.
• Maintaining compliance with PCA wood certification programs; following SFI guidelines for Michigan.
