Job summary

Mark Anthony Group is seeking a Finance Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and procurement analytics. The role works with the Senior Finance Manager to capture and analyze financial data and improve reporting processes.

Responsibilities include journal entries, variance analysis for raw materials and packaging, and collaboration with Supply Chain stakeholders. 0–3 years finance experience and strong Excel/ERP skills are preferred; Chicago base noted with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, 0-3 years of experience in finance or accounting (CPG experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail & ability to work independently.
• Comfortable handling large amounts of data and detail, and having the ability to see the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze drivers of Supply Chain raw material and packaging expenses.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure monthly financial impacts are accurately recorded.
• Partner with Supply Chain stakeholders to understand drivers behind procurement performance.
• Budget and Forecasting of raw materials and packaging.
• Prepare and maintain financial models and price lists.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
• Productivity & Cost Savings.
• Commodity Hedging Strategy.
• MAB Supply Chain Goals - Total COGs per CE, Operational Objectives, Procurement Excellence.
• Analysis on drivers of raw material and packaging financial variances, month-end close responsibilities, productivity tracking, and price list management.
• Refine and enhance existing reports to improve business processes.
