Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer to manage project, product and service deliveries from bid to manufacture and delivery for nuclear equipment.

You will oversee supplier engagement, procurement requirements, and reporting of supply chain status for AP1000, AP300 and other Energy Systems products. This hybrid role requires two or more days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial, mechanical or related engineering.
• Experience in Power Generation, Manufacturing, Project Management or Supply Chain.
• US Citizen and eligible for access to restricted technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work with design, suppliers, and internal manufacturing to become the supply chain manufacturing expert for nuclear equipment.
• Support supplier identification, evaluation, down selection, and negotiations.
• Create procurement requirements and SAP purchase requisitions with design.
• Develop supplier document submittal requirements and manufacturing witness and hold point requirements with quality.
• Support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.
• Cost and schedule reductions through supplier management.
• Create agendas and lead kick-off meetings with suppliers.
• Conduct scheduled meetings with suppliers and Westinghouse project teams.
• Develop supplier oversight plans and manage execution of supplier oversight and hold points.
• Review supplier submittals and manage document review performance with resource allocation.

About The Role

As a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for managing project, product, and service deliveries for Westinghouse, from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. This will include managing supplier engagement and development strategies, and working with internal and external customers to report supply chain and manufacturing status related to AP1000, AP300, and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio.

You will report to the Supplier Chain Delivery Stream Manager and be located at Cranberry Township, PA on a hybrid basis with two+ days in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Westinghouse Design, Suppliers and Internal Manufacturing to become the supply chain manufacturing engineering expert for the assigned nuclear equipment.
• Support supplier identification, evaluation, down selection and negotiations.
• You will work with design to create procurement requirements and SAP purchase requisitions.
• Collaborate with design engineering and quality to develop supplier document submittal requirements and manufacturing witness and hold point (W&HP) requirements.
• You will support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.
• Cost and schedule reductions through supplier management efforts.
• Create agendas and lead kick-off meetings with Suppliers.
• Conduct scheduled meetings with Suppliers and Westinghouse project teams.
• Work with Supplier Performance Engineering to develop supplier oversight plans and project manage execution of supplier oversight and witness and hold points.
• Review supplier submittals and manage Westinghouse's document review performance, by coordinating resource allocation with management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience or previous project work related to Power Generation, Manufacturing, Project Management or Supply Chain.
• US Citizen. You must meet the criteria for access to our partners' and clients' technologies and meet import/export controls laws and regulations.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be ($58,400 to $73,000) per year.
