Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Procurement/Sourcing professional in Plano, TX to identify and develop new suppliers, request quotations, negotiate prices, and coordinate sample submissions. The role supports supplier qualification and onboarding, working with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve cost competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5+ years in sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing environment, strong negotiation skills, and ERP/MRP experience

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 2–5+ years of sourcing, purchasing, or procurement in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Working with internal teams such as Buyer, Engineering, Quality, and Planning for supplier evaluation and project support

Assisting with sourcing strategies to improve supply stability and cost competitiveness

Conducting annual supplier evaluations / scorecards for key vendors

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-5+ years of sourcing, purchasing, or procurement experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory control

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) or production materials
• Knowledge of supply chain principles such as lead times, safety stock, and demand planning
• APICS certification (e.g., CPIM or CSCP)
