Job summary

D&B Supply in the Caldwell, Idaho area is seeking a Procurement/Data Entry Specialist to support the Large Animal and Feed Buyer by entering and processing data for merchandise selection and procurement.

You will learn vendor systems, maintain SKU data, coordinate with stores and vendors, and help ensure timely delivery and accurate pricing.

Requirements include strong Excel skills, a high school diploma, 2+ years in office or data entry, and the ability to manage large data sets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of large animal and feed preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize vendor B2B information sites to access UPC codes and place orders
• Maintain system data related to vendors, SKUs, min/max, and pricing
• Work with buyers providing clerical support regarding system and product information
• Ensure timely delivery of merchandise through communication with vendors, DC and stores
• Research price and specifications from vendors, catalogs and the Internet
• Maintain show specials and adjust discounts, pricing and terms in the system
• Maintain replenishment system for standard merchandise weekly
• Communicate daily with stores and internal teams to resolve issues
• Other duties related to procurement as assigned by area manager/director
