Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Procurement Analyst to enhance procurement strategies in Welkom. You will analyze spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve procurement efficiency in a hybrid work setting.

You will develop spend reports, dashboard insights, and supplier performance metrics to support negotiations and policy implementation across functions. A bachelor's degree and strong analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Proven experience as Procurement Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings.
Develop and maintain spend reports and dashboards for management review.
Support the negotiation process by providing market intelligence and cost analysis.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
