Black & Veatch is hiring a Procurement Coordinator 2 in Overland Park, KS. You will support mildly complex post‑award procurement tasks across multiple projects, assist with other duties, and work under general supervision.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, data integrity, and collaborative problem solving within a hybrid work setup. You’ll join an employee‑owned environment that values safety, accountability, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years relevant experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background check and drug screen.
• BA/BS degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and databases.

Responsabilités

• Administers the invoicing approval process and contract compliance with project personnel.
• Tracks invoices and enters purchase order agreements in the procurement system.
• Manages contract and contract revision approval processes and coordinates with Engineering on technical documents.
• Leads project closeout activities including final payments and insurance as required.
• Maintains multiple logs for contracts, revisions, invoices, and closeout; files documents per rules.
• May train others in Procurement Administration under supervisor guidance.
• Individual contributor with no subordinates.
