Job summary

Meador Staffing is seeking a Contract-to-Hire Procurement Coordinator in the Webster area (77058) to manage purchasing processes, supplier selection, and compliance across contracts and requisitions.

The role requires 3+ years of procurement experience and familiarity with Deltek, Costpoint, or Cognos; Bachelor's degree preferred. You will provide strong customer service and perform buying duties as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders; track requisitions and contracts.

• Identify suppliers through market research and databases; assess quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks; develop risk mitigation procedures.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service on demand with continual communication.
• Interact with customers providing information to organizations concerning products, services, and process documentation.
• Maintain professional and courteous conduct at all times.

As the Procurement Coordinator, you will:

• Prepare and process purchase orders; track requisitions and contracts.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
• Identify suppliers through market research, trade events, and databases; assess quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory frameworks; develop risk mitigation procedures.
• Perform buying duties when necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service on demand. Immediate and continual communication with the customer is expected throughout.
• Interact with customers in providing information to organizations concerning products, services, and process documentation.
• At all times perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• 3+ years of purchasing / procurement experience
• Experience with Deltek, Costpoint, or Cognos preferred

Compensation and Perks:

• $25/hr
