Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Purchasing support professional in Colorado to confirm purchase orders, invoice customers, and process drop ships. The role involves interacting with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

Responsibilities include ordering, pricing support, and maintaining smooth communication with multiple stakeholders. A High School diploma and 6–12 months in procurement or related admin work are required, with foodservice

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6-12 months procurement, warehouse and/or administrative experience in related area.
• 1-2 years procurement, warehouse and/or administrative experience in related area within foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing by confirming all purchase orders, invoicing customers and processing drop ships.
• Prepare orders to be dropped ship directly to customers.
• File all special orders.
• Assist in pricing and sourcing products based on product merchandising knowledge.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and company personnel in a friendly, timely and accurate manner.
• Interface with management, warehouse, Accounting, Multi-Unit Accounts, Customer Service, Transportation, and Information Services, in-house freight traffic management personnel, Vice President, Purchasing, and other Purchasing personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose

Responsible for assisting personnel within Purchasing confirming all purchase orders, invoicing customers and processing drop ships. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and wide range of company personnel in a positive and proactive manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Qualifications
