Job Summary

The Procurement Coordinator supports the procurement process by managing purchase orders, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires collaboration with various departments to facilitate procurement activities and maintain accurate records for financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Support the procurement team in executing various procurement processes, including vendor selection, purchase order creation, and contract management.

Job Duty 2 - Ensure that all procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices, are accurately maintained and easily accessible for review and audits.

Job Duty 3 - Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate the timely delivery of goods and services, addressing any delays or issues that arise.

Job Duty 4 - Track procurement expenditures against the budget, reporting any discrepancies and assisting in the implementation of corrective actions.

Job Duty 5 - Assist in evaluating supplier performance by gathering feedback from internal stakeholders and analyzing delivery timelines, quality, and service levels.

Job Duty 6 - Compile and prepare reports on procurement activities, including spending trends, supplier performance, and compliance with policies and procedures.

Job Duty 7 - Serve as a point of contact between suppliers and internal departments, facilitating communication and ensuring that procurement-related inquiries are addressed promptly.

Job Duty 8 - Support the onboarding and training of new procurement staff, providing guidance on procurement processes and best practices.

Job Duty 9 - Attend procurement meetings and contribute to discussions regarding procurement strategies, supplier evaluations, and process improvements.

Job Duty 10 - Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements High school diploma, GED, or vocational training.

Other Required Qualifications Overnight travel required for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours degree in Business Management or related (due to client shift schedules, project requirements).

Required Experience 1+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field

Proposed Salary

Annuary salary: $49,308 - $63,500. Commensurate with education and experience.

SKILLS Process routine disposition purchase requests received from departments resolving purchasing issues, identifying process improvements and cost savings opportunities.
