Job summary

The Port of Everett seeks a Procurement and Contracts Administrator to administer formal and informal procurement processes for materials, services, and construction. You will help maintain vendor data, ensure compliance with policies, and support the Procurement & Contracts Manager in advancing projects.

This on-site role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate federal, state, and port requirements while contributing to efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in public sector contracting, procurement, or related field.
• Certification in public procurement (NIGP/UPPCC/NCMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer formal solicitations (Bids, RFPs, RFQs, QBS) from inception to award.
• Manage contracts, including development, execution, and monitoring; review invoices for policy compliance.
• Work with department contacts to resolve contract issues and re-solicit when needed.
• Support supplier management, data collection, reporting, and outreach.
