Hyundai Capital America in Irvine is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager to lead procurement, sourcing, and contract management for key business units. This role negotiates supplier agreements, coordinates with Legal and risk teams, and drives governance and cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management, vendor management, or a related field.
- Experience managing supplier negotiations, contracts, sourcing initiatives, and vendor relationships.
- Experience partnering with Legal, Information Security, Vendor Risk, Privacy, Finance, and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with procurement, contract management, ERP, or reporting tools preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, and governance practices.
- Ability to independently manage complex procurement and contract initiatives while balancing risk, cost, and business objectives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement strategy and partner with assigned business units, supporting sourcing strategies, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives and drive timely, cost-effective outcomes.
- Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, and pricing negotiations.
- Manage vendor negotiations, contracts, and supplier relationships for strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and maximize business value.
- Support ongoing supplier performance, issue resolution, and contract lifecycle management.
- Coordinate procurement activities with Legal, Information Security, Vendor Risk, Privacy, Finance, and business teams.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, risk management requirements, and governance standards.
- Identify issues, recommend solutions, and escalate complex matters as needed.
- Support procurement process improvements, reporting, documentation, training, and governance initiatives.
- Recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, consistency, and stakeholder experience.

The Procurement Contracts Manager leads procurement, sourcing, and contract management activities for assigned business areas. This role partners with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to negotiate supplier agreements, manage procurement initiatives, ensure compliance with governance requirements, and drive effective vendor outcomes.
- Procurement Strategy & Business Partnership
