HCA is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager to lead procurement, sourcing, and contract management activities for assigned business areas. You will negotiate supplier agreements, manage procurement initiatives, and partner with Legal and stakeholder teams to mitigate risk and maximize value.
The role requires collaboration across Legal, Information Security, Vendor Risk, Privacy, Finance, and business units, with responsibilities spanning contract lifecycle and supplier performance.
The Procurement Contracts Manager leads procurement, sourcing, and contract management activities for assigned business areas. This role partners with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to negotiate supplier agreements, manage procurement initiatives, ensure compliance with governance requirements, and drive effective vendor outcomes.
1. Procurement Strategy & Business Partnership
Serve as the primary procurement partner for assigned business units, supporting sourcing strategies, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
Partner with stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives and drive timely, cost-effective outcomes.
Lead sourcing events, supplier evaluations, and pricing negotiations.
Manage vendor negotiations, contracts, and supplier relationships for strategic business initiatives.
Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders to mitigate risk, improve commercial terms, and maximize business value.
Support ongoing supplier performance, issue resolution, and contract lifecycle management.
3. Cross-Functional Governance & Risk Management
Coordinate procurement activities with Legal, Information Security, Vendor Risk, Privacy, Finance, and business teams.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, risk management requirements, and governance standards.
Identify issues, recommend solutions, and escalate complex matters as needed.
4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Support procurement process improvements, reporting, documentation, training, and governance initiatives.
Recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, consistency, and stakeholder experience.
