Job summary

The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer for the Office Administrative Services, located at the System Office in Atlanta. You will manage complex procurements, guide purchasing compliance, and support contract administration for TCSG’s technical colleges.

Responsibilities include bidding, RFPs, contract negotiations, and ensuring fair, open, and competitive processes in line with DOAS rules and TCSG procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of work-related experience (experience may substitute for degree).
• Experience with pursuing, evaluating, and awarding bids or contracts and with procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions and purchase orders in GA@WORK for TCSG Technical Colleges.
• Conduct bids and RFPs by developing specifications and evaluating bids and contracts.
• Determine procurement methods based on thresholds, funding sources, and regulations.
• Review, negotiate, and administer contracts, amendments, and change orders.
• Provide guidance on purchasing rules and procedures for TCSG colleges and system office.
