Job summary

CBRE is seeking a T&T Procurement Consultant to design, evaluate, and manage sourcing and contracting activities. The role focuses on onboarding, prequalification, and compliance for service providers and contractors across construction projects.

This full-time position requires on-site presence at the client’s campus three days a week in Indianapolis, with collaboration across procurement teams and project managers to align with GMP, T&M, and other delivery models.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, project management, or contract management experience in construction-related fields.
  • Knowledge of standard procurement and project management principles with practical application.
  • Proficient MS Office and data analysis skills are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Design, generate, review, and produce documentation to support sourcing requirements.
  • Manage onboarding, prequalification, and compliance using enterprise systems.
  • Assess provider capabilities, safety performance, capacity, and market conditions.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and ensure performance against expectations.
  • Lead RFP processes across design, engineering, and services in multiple regions.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, bids, and contracting approaches.
  • Collect and rationalize data to support improvements and recommendations.
  • Create bid evaluation frameworks and conduct comparative analyses.

About TheRole

As a CBRE T&TProcurement Consultant, you will design, evaluate, manage and providedeliverables based on the collection of data related to the sourcing,contracting, management, and performance of service providers and contractors. This position is a member ofa Client dedicated Procurement team. The team is responsible for sourcing, onboarding,contracting, and procurement of goods, services, or materials for constructionproject management and contracting activities.

This role is afull-time position and will require on-site presence at the client's campusthree days a week in Indianapolis.

What You’llDo
  • Design, generate, review, and produce documentations to support account, client, and global sourcing requirements and priorities.
  • Manage and oversee service provider prequalification, onboarding, and compliance using enterprise systems (e.g., D365, Coupa and Ariba).
  • Assess service provider capabilities, safety performance (e.g., TRIR, DART and EMR), capacity, and market conditions.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships while holding them accountable to performance expectations, quality, and project deliverables.
  • Issuance and coordination of RFP activities in collaboration with Project Managers or Lead RFx (RFP/RFQ) processes for construction, design, engineering, and specialty services across multiple geographic regions.
  • Align procurement methodology with project delivery models (e.g., GMP, T&M, preconstruction, reimbursable, programmatic rates).
  • Develop sourcing strategies and plans, including competitive bids, sole/single-source justifications, and phased contracting approaches.
  • Collect, rationalized, and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and usefulness. Leverage data from multiple sources to create a complete overview that facilitates the deliveries of improvements and recommendation(s).
  • Design and manage bid evaluation frameworks, scoring criteria, and comparative analyses.
  • Evaluate and validate proposals across schedule, risk, safety, scope completeness, commercial structures, pricing models, and change management provisions.
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries and award recommendations with clear, defensible rationale.
  • Facilitate evaluator alignment and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Draft and review Statements of Work (SOWs) or Work Orders (WO), ensuring alignment with corporate contracting standards (e.g., PO‑based engagements, AIA/CCDC frameworks). Coordinate with Legal and contracting teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage communication across internal teams and external service providers.
  • Provide timely updates, follow‑ups, and reporting to meet project timelines.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Ownership and impact on the quality of one’s own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Drive continuous improvement in procurement workflows, templates, and documentation.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions and check for understanding.
What You’llNeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant business fields
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, project management, or contract management in construction-related fields (preferred). In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Knowledge of standard procurement and project management principles with practical experience in applying them.
  • Math skills and ability to produce financial-related calculations.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Form, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with a continuous inquisitive and learning mindset.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracting models and commercial structures
