Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a Procurement Compliance Manager to strengthen compliant procurement operations across programs, partners, and suppliers.

You will lead audits, enforce FAR/DFARS, develop policies and training, and guide cross‑functional teams in process improvement to ensure audit readiness and ongoing regulatory alignment. This role requires collaboration with legal, finance, IT, and procurement to implement sustainable compliance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of relevant experience in procurement, operations, compliance, or related field.
• Experience in regulated environments with procurement/compliance/auditing/government contracting.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to explain complex requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurement processes comply with federal regulations, policies, and internal controls.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining compliance.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, templates, and guidance.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on procurement compliance and regulatory requirements.
