AllSTEM Connections, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Category Specialist for a contract opportunity in Erlanger, KY.

This role supports the North America Procurement team within a large-scale food and nutrition ingredients environment, focusing on raw material approvals, documentation, and supplier compliance to support product launches. You will collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, suppliers and manufacturing stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting, gaining exposure to ERP

Responsibilities

• Lead raw material workflows for new product launches, revised formulas, vendor setup, ingredient setup, and supplier changes.
• Collect, review, and manage supplier documentation within a raw material approval database, such as TraceGains.
• Coordinate weekly cross-functional priority meetings to track open items, identify delays, and accelerate approvals.
• Build monthly supplier forecasts and scorecards to support procurement visibility and supplier performance tracking.
• Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies while helping maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support raw material issue resolution, sourcing projects, sample tracking, and supplier communication.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Procurement Category Specialist for a contract opportunity in Erlanger, KY. This role supports the North America Procurement team within a global food and nutrition ingredients environment, helping ensure raw materials are approved, documented, and ready to support production and new product launches. This is a strong opportunity for a professional with experience in procurement, purchasing, regulatory documentation, supplier compliance, or QA documentation who wants to build deeper supply chain and procurement experience. You will work closely with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, suppliers, and manufacturing stakeholders while managing high-visibility workflows that directly impact product launch timelines. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional, offering real ownership from day one. Candidates will gain valuable exposure to industry-standard systems, supplier documentation processes, ERP-related work, and procurement operations within a large-scale manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $22 to $25 per hour.
