Job summary

The Newell Group in Chicago area is seeking a skilled Buyer/Senior Buyer/Planner for Food Ingredients/Flavors in a manufacturing environment. The role leads end-to-end supply and production planning in assigned categories and manages supplier relationships and performance.

This onsite/hybrid position is in the Chicago area near Western O'hare Airport. It combines procurement and production planning responsibilities with a focus on ERP usage and compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
• 5+ years purchasing experience in food, flavors, carriers, extracts herbs & spices
• Hands on experience and strong understanding of ERP systems Netsuite preferred
• Supply Chain, Purchasing, or PMP Certification a plus
• Strong negotiating skills, vendor and contract management experience
• Ability to travel domestically or as required
• Industry experience in Food or Food Chemical Manufacturing

Our client is looking for a skilled Buyer/Senior Buyer/Planner for Food Ingredients/Flavors in a manufacturing environment. The position will lead end to end supply and production planning in assigned categories. It will be responsible for managing Supplier Relationships and performance.

This is an onsite/hybrid role in Chicago area, Western O'hare Airport area. It is a Confidential Search for a seasoned Buyer/Senior Buyer/Planner. This role combines procurement and production planning responsibilities.
