Job summary

EPITEC in Portland, OR is seeking an Associate Procurement Specialist. This hybrid role combines onsite and remote work (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with responsibilities in day-to-day purchasing and transactional procurement.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in procurement, experience with purchase orders and requisitions, and familiarity with ERP systems. This entry-level position offers growth in sourcing, contracts, and supplier management.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or related environment.
• Experience with purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems.
• Basic exposure to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier bids, contracts, or vendor management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactional procurement work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Portland, OR 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders with complete documentation.
• Review requests for compliance with procurement processes and requirements.
• Support routine purchasing activities and lower-risk sourcing events.
• Assist with RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for straightforward needs.
• Review supplier information and bids and support pricing negotiations.
• Assist with drafting and extending contracts using templates and procedures.
• Maintain supplier documentation and performance information.
• Manage procurement requests through systems such as ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with Category Buyers and Managers to maintain flow and resolve issues.
• Follow procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
