Job summary

SRM Digital is seeking entry- to intermediate-level Buyers to support procurement and purchasing operations. You will coordinate with suppliers, manage purchase orders, obtain quotations, and ensure timely procurement of materials for business operations.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to monitor orders and resolve issues. Onsite work is required in Austin, TX and Gloucester, MA for a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Understanding of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of Purchase Orders (POs) and vendor coordination.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Supply Chain Management or Procurement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quotations and orders.
• Create, process, and track Purchase Orders (POs).
• Compare vendor pricing, quotations, and delivery timelines.
• Assist with supplier management and vendor communication.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and purchased items.
• Maintain purchasing records and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
• Monitor order status and resolve purchasing-related issues.
