Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Procurement Associate on behalf of our client for a 1-year contract (W-2). You will support day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring compliant purchasing and documentation, and partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing events.

The role covers RFQ/sourcing support, purchase order management, change order processing, and contract administration. A 2+ year experience and an undergraduate degree are preferred.

We are looking for a Procurement Associate on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will be supporting the execution of day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring efficiency, compliant purchasing of goods and services. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate sourcing events, process procurement transactions, and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with business units to understand scope, specifications, and timelines
• Provide guidance on procurement processes and ensure policy alignment
• Coordinate across internal teams to support issue resolution and delivery

2. RFQ / Sourcing Support

• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers
• Coordinate supplier communications, clarifications, and bid timelines
• Track and organize proposals; support basic commercial evaluations

3. Purchase Order Management

• Create and process purchase orders in procurement system
• Validate alignment with approved quotes and budgets

4. Change Order Processing

• Process changes orders for scope, cost, or schedule adjustments
• Ensure proper approvals and supporting documentation

5. Administrative & Compliance Support

• Assist with contract administration (renewals, amendments, tracking)
• Maintain positive working relationships with vendors

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years
• Education: Undergraduate degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $31.00/hr. to $36.00/hr.
