Job summary

Boeing’s Global Services organization seeks an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join the Supplier Management team in Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA. You will support procurement for aftermarket goods/services in a fast-paced environment while learning and growing within Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Supply Chain.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline and/or 2+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages priorities for a high volume of supplier purchase orders/contracts.
• Oversee source selection for parts and services.
• Manage contractual documents and binding agreements including RFPs, supplier contracts, and purchase orders per regulations and Boeing procedures.
• Support Proposal Board activities by gathering supplier cost and lead time inputs for customer proposals, RFIs, and business development opportunities.
• Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement to ensure delivery, quality, and financial stability.
• Manage supplier performance by interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditions.
• Initiate supplier improvement activities aligned with program goals and strategies.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.
• Communicate across functions, programs, and suppliers to manage risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior team members.
