Job summary

The Boeing Company in Long Beach, CA is seeking an entry-level or associate Procurement Agent to join the Supplier Management team. You will issue POs, track order status, and coordinate PO changes with suppliers in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in procurement or supply chain, cross-functional collaboration skills, and familiarity with procurement systems. This role is based in Long Beach, CA or Seattle, WA with standard daytime shifts and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with suppliers and vendors.
• Available to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Issue POs in a timely manner.
• Communicates and follows up with suppliers on order status.
• Coordinates with suppliers and process PO changes.
• Resolves Griefs and NCRs.
• Interprets contract terms and conditions.
• Unitizes metrics and dashboards to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Facilitates supplier/subcontractor relationships, delivery requirements and performance to contractual obligations.
• Develops, documents and implements process changes in support of company goals.
• Identifies and implements improvements to streamline process flows.
