The role acts as an authorized agent responsible for supplier-related activities and contracts, including sourcing, negotiating, and documenting agreements to help meet program goals and drive supplier performance.

• Experience supporting supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize a high volume of supplier purchase orders and contracts.
• Oversee source selection for parts and services.
• Prepare, negotiate, and document RFPs and supplier contracts.
• Support proposals with supplier cost and lead time data.
• Gather data for supplier performance evaluations.
• Manage supplier performance and enforce contract terms.
• Initiate supplier improvement activities aligned with program goals.
• Communicate with stakeholders to align strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional risk and issue management.
• Coach and train junior team members.
• Understand and apply company policies and regulations.
