Job summary

Marotta Controls, Inc. in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Procurement Associate to support production and facility procurement. You will manage supplier open orders, address non-conforming material, and coordinate quotes and deliveries to ensure on-time materials flow.

This role requires up to 3 years of business experience, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality and management while maintaining accurate records in the inventory

Qualifications

• 0-3 years general business experience.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to see activities through to completion.
• Strong verbal/written communication skills for interactions with all levels and external partners.
• Computer literate with MS Office/PC expertise and experience with applicable systems.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Run, distribute and manage Supplier Open Order Reports.
• Support management of parts shortages due to supplier delays or non-conforming material.
• Reschedule purchase orders to meet changing customer needs.
• Process and coordinate replacement of non-conforming material.
• Source various parts and solicit quotes from suppliers for production and facility needs.
• Generate metric reports as scheduled.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, purchasing and management to provide timely status.
• Purchaselow complexity components; data entry and sending new purchase orders to suppliers.
• Assist with review of requisitions and coordinate with suppliers for price, availability, and delivery.
